Sketch challenge #2

I found this "Paper Inspirations" HERO stamp at Hobby Lobby and used it to make several "Any Hero" cards this week... it worked well for the sketch on this challenge! I got frustrated with my attempt to do a card for the color challenge.. it was a new "resist" technique with water colors and crayons that I learned at a Donna Downey workshop and it just didn't turn out right... I couldn't get the shading close enough to the dress's color..

Two Sketches = One Card or Get Busy and Do Two Cards!

Don't you just love these lucious spring colors in that dress. I dug int omy stamps and decided to "try" to incorporate it into a watercolor resist technique card for the color challenge.. hmm... The techique using water colors and Crayola crayons worked but becuase it is supposed to be "watercolored" it looks so washed out in every photo I took of it i.e. no vibrant colors in the original mean none in the photo.. oh, well, love the technique and will use on some Mother's Day cards.
