A challenging sketch but now that my brain is slowly going into "Real Housewives..,"House Hunters" la-la land in retirement, I needed something to make me think for a change. I bought a set of "Botannical Blooms" Stampin' Up stamps (never used!) at a yard sale for $5 and had a quote from my Fifth Avenue Flower set that I really just love.. so I went a bit crooked, played with the double stamping technique on the flowers and voila.. Oh, and I had to use my new Sizzix Texture pocketbook.. ...Hmmmmm.. wondering why my light cream card looks so dark on Stars&Stamps..it's lavendar and very light cream in the picture I uploaded... oh well, something else to think about.. (yeah!!!)
mine isn't exactly like the sketch either....love your card.....I need to go to the yard sales you go to,or you can teach me your secret!!LOL!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteNicely done. Seeing creative variations on the sketches are one of the best parts.
